Professional Golfers' Associations of Europe (2007 - 2010)
Steve has advised the PGAs of Europe for a number of years on the emerging EU sports policy, managing their lobbying actions in Brussels, developing positions papers. Examples:

Steve also advised on drafting a successful EU Leonardo application. Prepared in close cooperation with SkillsActive & with a budget of Euro400,000, this is the first EU Leonardo project targeting a specific professional sport.
Salvation Army (2007/08)
Steve has prepared successful grant applications assisting The Salvation Army (UK and Ireland) to implement a new strategy "Employment Plus" helping those furthest from the labour market to find sustainable employment.
Steve's help was vital in developing project ideas and preparing applications. He has enabled us to win crucial funds. UK National Health Service (2006)
Steve prepared a winning grant bid for Mental Health Trusts in London to deliver an innovative project where specialist Employment Advisors deliver employability support within Community Mental Health Teams.
This project formed part of a strategic framework "Routes 2 Employment" developed by Mental Health Trusts in North and East London in 2004 to promote integration between employment and mental health agencies.
European Training Foundation
Steve helped the EU agency, the European Training Foundation, and The World Bank in 2006 with the drafting of a report on vocational training challenges in the Middle East and North Africa.
Tomorrow's People Trust
The Tomorrow's People Trust is one the UK's leading innovative charities helping people to find and keep a job. Since 2001, Steve has worked with Tomorrow's People on the development of new projects, helping the Trust to secure grants from a wide range of domestic and European funds.
Steve has long experience in employment and training policies and an ability to draft in a clear and concise manner.
